Superior Mirage, Stainless Steel, 10 x 7 meters, 2023.

Superior Mirage is an optical illusion, ripples of light reflected in the air. The work consists of a series of reflective and rotating stainless steel stems. The poles are bent to create organic and asymmetrical shapes, generating a disruptive pattern along the horizon line.

Originally created in part with funding from the Burning Man Honoraria Arts Program. Superior Mirage was made site specifically for the 2023 Burning Man Event Animalia. It has since been exhibited at PATIO by ZⓈONAMACO at Jardín Escultórico Puerto Los Cabos, 2024.
